The Impact of Improv on Speaking Anxiety

Join our 11-week study at the intersection of education and theatrical arts. We explore how improv affects public speaking anxiety in an environment of safety and trust, designed specifically for adults to learn real-life skills.

The Alchemy of Safety and Performance

We believe transformational public speaking begins with the courage to be seen. Our 11-week experimental course is built upon a philosophy of radical acceptance, where the classroom becomes a sanctuary of trust. By cultivating an environment where risks are celebrated and comfort zones are expanded, we seek to bridge the gap between structured presentation and authentic spontaneity. Through experiential learning, we want participants to discover  skills on the improv stage that are transferable to the real-world.

A Foundation of Safety and Trust

We work to cultivate a secure environment where adults feel empowered to take creative risks. By building mutual support first, participants have a place of safety where they can step outside their comfort zones to explore their authentic voice.

Experiential Learning and Method

The 11-week course focuses on active, hands-on engagement and reflection. Instead of passive lectures, you'll learn through direct performance, internalizing skills that you can draw on outside of class.

Connecting Improv to Real Life

We seek through our cirriculum to bridge the gap between rehearsal and reality through reflection and at home activities that take what is learned  to the real world.
